Saint James the Apostle School understands the challenges today's children face which can often interfere with their ability to achieve academically and socially in the school setting. Some of the issues might include family illness, grief and loss, and peer issues. We recognize these challenges and look for ways to offer assistance.
One such assistance for our children is our counseling service which is offered weekly for short or long term depending upon the issue and progress. Students may be referred for this service by the principal, a teacher, faculty member, or a parent or guardian. Older students may request a meeting as well; but only with parent or guardian's approval.
